The service, attention to details and setting was superb The choice of cakes and the extra fresh scones were first class Unfortunately the sandwiches let the party down with some with dried edges

Ordered steaks for our dinner and it was delicious. The steaks are full of flavours. Chips, fries, sauce was just amazing. We also ordered the red wine to go with it and it was the perfect wine to pair with. Enjoy the meal thoroughly.

It had been a long time since we dined here and we went with some friends. The four of us all had excellent food and it was a great evening. Highly Recommended,

The place we live is about five minutes, it is a public bar, a bit noisy, correct to say more warm and lively! I drank a cup of John Smith&#39;s ➕shandy (beer and lemon juice), because I am not very fond of wine, the fruit fragrance is also very heavy, I personally like the apple (thatcher gold there is also a sale), the environment is very good, a mini pub, there are children playing outside, this small village is very quiet, Look up and see the sky full of stars

Excellent service and made a real effort for a birthday. Food was lovely and staff were helpful and accommodating. Overall a very lovely experience and would recommend greatly for a special occasion for two

Unfortunately I left extremely disappointed with this visit. We were sat in the lobby (which is where the tables are, it seems&hellip;odd). Our afternoon tea came out and the sandwiches had clearly been sat out on the side all morning. The bread was extremely crusty and stale. The cakes were all pre packaged and not very nice. No one mentioned it to staff at the time as we were there celebrating a friend and didn&rsquo;t want to ruin anything, however we all agreed at the end how bad the food was! The staff were lovely, though.

We booked an afternoon tea for 3 at double tree Hilton Stafford upon Avon. When we were seated, we were served an afternoon tea for 2. There are only enough cakes, sandwiches for 2. When we enquired, they said they were told it was for 2 people and then brought us some &#39;extra&#39; cakes. We had to request for some more sandwiches as said we were happy to pay for it. They kindly brought us some sandwiches too. On the booking, the menu said there were going to serve scones (like you do in most afternoon teas) and macaroons and Madalines as part of deserts. However, we were served crumpets with butter and Jam instead. And no macaroons or madalines. We were disappointed as we were expecting scones and macaroon and an afternoon tea for 3 and our expectations were not met as per the offer. However, the food did taste good.

The staff were lovely and attentive. They knew that one guest was vegetarian and explained that the range of sweet treats may be reduced because they contained gluten, which we thought was very good of them to notice and inform us.The setting wasn&#39;t ideal, we were seated in the lobby and it was noisy and bustly at times.The food was edible but a really low standard. The vegetarian sandwiches were mixed with meat sandwiches, and were messy and dry. None of the cakes or scones were homemade or of any particular quality - catering warehouse standard at the best. My friend and I treat ourselves to afternoon tea several times a year and we both agreed that this was our worst experience. I repeat, staff were great! Food was very very disappointing. Would not recommend at all.

Booked a table for 8 people  food all came out at the same time, it was lovely ... no complaints at all, the staff were very attentive too

We booked for before going to the theatre and were very clear about our limited time and this was confirmed at various stages by staff who advised on timings &hellip; unfortunately this info did not appear to reach the kitchen so we were a bit anxious about not having received our main courses at 7 pm and had to bolt our food - that said it was fabulous food which we all enjoyed
